One of the key fixtures in the racing calendar is now just a few months away as anticipation continues to build for the 2018 Cheltenham Festival. With prize money at an all-time high it is no surprise that many of the top horses are being aimed at the fey festival races. Day two known as Ladies day looks set to be a cracker with the key race being the Queen Mother Champion Chase.
At the start of the season this was all about the anticipated clash between the two stars in Altior and Douvan however this has failed to materialise with Douvan out for the season. Altior has also yet to make the track this season with it looking ever more likely he will make his first appearance of the season in this race. Altior is clearly one of the most exciting horses of recent times and is on a win streak of 11 races that dates back to April of 2015.
