After acquiring the garbage empire of convicted mobster James Galante, shuttering dozens of family-owned small businesses and then selling the jobs to Canada, the Winter Brothers garbage cartel have plyed their dirty trade in our communities through negligence, lawbreaking, disregard for the safety of the public, and buying political influence. The Winters Brothers are expanding their unethical, unsafe and dirty businesses across CT, NY and VT and threaten our environment, roadways, citizens and first responders. They have skirted regulations, inflated taxpayer bids, and broken the law for profit in the face of citizen deaths, accidents, toxic garbage fires, firefighter injuries, and a police fatality in Suffolk County. They face lawsuits for age and sex discrimination, wage theft and even actual theft. When they continued to use the strong arm tactics of their mafia predecessor James Galante it took a class action lawsuit loss for them to stop. We can’t rely on the courts or the politicians to keep our families safe this fall from the criminal element. We have to as a community refrain from supporting those local politicians and political organizations that accept dirty money.
Politicians like Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton are too cozy with this criminal element and both Democratic and Republican parties in that city have accepted their dirty money. In Long Island, the Winters Brothers have made considerable donations to help cover up their criminal cartel. They have spread their influence to the majority of Long Island politicians and political organizations. There include: the committees of Suffolk County Democrats and Republicans, Huntington Conservative Pre Primary, Brookhaven Republican Pre Primary, Babylon Democratic and Republican; North Hempstead Democrats, Bayville/Centre Island Republican Club, Hempstead Republicans, Island Park Republican Club, Islip Republicans, Campaign for a Democratic Legislature, Phil Nolan, Frank Petrone, Ed Mangano, Brian Foley, Pat Vecchio, Tom Barraga, John Flanagan, Viviana Russell,, Angie Carpenter, Angie Cullin, Ralph Suozzi, Stuart Besen,, Assemblyman Cuthbertson, Ed Romaine, Louis D’Amaro, Glenda Jackson, Vincent Demarco, Sean Walter, Glen Cove Voters Council, Tim Mazzei,, Duwayne Gregory, Deanna Varricchio, Jon Kaiman, Judge John J. Toomey, and Steve Bellone.
They have accepted money from a cartel causing death and injury to our first responders. They’ve ruined our environment with toxic garbage fires and spills from negligent freeway accidents. The courts stopped them from using the same methods as their predecessor mobster James Galante. They discriminate against workers if they are women or sell the jobs to Canada. No matter how many OSHA violations, criminal, civil suits or class action lawsuits are brought to bear we still cannot rely on political leadership to protect us. Phil Nolan, Frank Petrone, Ed Mangano, Brian Foley,, Pat Vecchio, Tom Barraga, John Flanagan, Viviana Russell,, Angie Carpenter, Angie Cullin, Ralph Suozzi, Stuart Besen,, Assemblyman Cuthbertson, Ed Romaine, Louis D’Amaro, Glenda Jackson, Vincent Demarco, Sean Walter, Glen Cove Voters Council, Tim Mazzei,, Duwayne Gregory, Deanna Varricchio, Jon Kaiman, Judge John J. Toomey, and Steve Beeline have betrayed our trust, endangered our families, and can’t be allowed to help them hurt us.
